COVID-19

By Laura Anderson

Changes to Operational Procedures

Due to the impact and on-going effects of Covid-19 Ray White Picton will be putting in place temporary procedures effective immediately to protect the health of Tenants, Landlords and Staff in order to limit exposure or spread of the Coronavirus.

Routine Inspections

Internal inspections will not be carried out until further notice, however we may still do drive-by inspections. Should you have any property maintenance issues please email these through together with photos so that we can advise the owner. Of course, if the issue is urgent please also contact the office on 4677 1302 as well.

Risk Management Questions

Have you returned from overseas in the last 14 days and / or self-isolating?

Have you been in contact with anyone who has returned from overseas in the last 14 days that is unwell?

Do you have any flu-like symptons?

Property Inspections

Properties For Lease will be advertised as usual however we will not be carrying out any open homes until the property is vacant. All prospective tenants will be asked the Risk Management questions and if any answers are “Yes” then they will not be able to view the property. Those viewing the property will be shown through in small groups and asked not to touch any fixtures and fittings and not to open any cupboards or touch any walls or surfaces.

Repairs and Maintenance

Where a tradesman is required to attend a property you will be asked the Risk Management questions and they will also be asked of the tradesman. If you answer “Yes” to any of the questions alternative arrangements will need to be made.

To avoid any unnecessary contact, all non-urgent repairs will be discussed with the Landlord though they may not be attended to until a more suitable time.

Outgoing/Vacating Inspections

These will be carried as usual however should you wish to attend you will be asked the Risk Management questions.

We would like to remind tenants that only toilet paper is to be flushed down the toilet. All “Flushable” wipes, serviettes and tissues are to be disposed of in the bin.

If you have any queries regarding this notice please contact your Property Manager directly.

We thank you and appreciate your support as we all work together in controlling the spread of Covid-19
